Julian Feller
 

Julian Feller is an internationally recognised Melbourne orthopaedic surgeon whose main area of interest is knee surgery. His expertise covers the whole range of knee conditions from sports injuries to knee replacement.

Although Julian has worked with elite athletes in a wide range of sports and has an affiliation with a number of AFL clubs, he is just at home helping the "weekend warrior", recreational sportsperson, or someone struggling with an arthritic knee.

Julian has a strong interest in research and was a founding director of the Musculoskeletal Research Centre at La Trobe University where he is an Associate Professor. He publishes regularly in international scientific journals and also serves on editorial boards and review panels of key journals in his field. He is a regular speaker at international conferences.

 
Julian is active in a number of orthopaedic organisations. He is the current President of the international Anterior Cruciate Ligament Study Group, Chairman of the Knee Committee of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery & Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and past President of the Australian Knee Society.
