Appointments can be made by contacting our main rooms on 03 9038 5200 between the hours of 8.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. We will endeavor to provide a suitable appointment as soon as possible. Cancellation lists are also available for patients seeking an earlier appointment than is available. Urgent appointments are available for injuries requiring immediate medical attention. They are usually requested by your referring doctor and prioritized.
If you know which OSV surgeon you wish to see, please advise reception when you phone and they will transfer you to the surgeon’s room.
If you are unsure which surgeon you should see, please advise our staff of your current injury and they will direct you to the appropriate surgeon.
A referral letter is required to see an OSV surgeon ensure that you are paid your Medicare rebate entitlement. Your General Practitioner (GP) or another medical specialist is able to provide you with such a referral. GP referrals are usually valid for 12 months from the date of attendance and specialist referrals are valid for 3 months.
Please bring all relevant X-rays and scans with you to your appointment. Your surgeon may send you for further scans or investigations if required.
